Hi, I’m Arianne (“Annie”) Sallaberry.

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine began as a teenager when I struggled with menstrual issues. At the time, the only treatment I was offered was birth control, but I wanted to understand the underlying cause rather than simply manage the symptoms. As I learned about Traditional Chinese Medicine, I was inspired by its approach and decided to make it my career.

At 19, I moved to China to teach English, learn Mandarin, and pursue my education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After several years of language study, I enrolled at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where I completed my degree in Mandarin alongside native Chinese students. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

After graduation, I lived in Paris, France, where I learned French and continued my training with experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners. In 2017, I returned home to Reno to begin my practice.

In 2018, I became nationally board certified and earned my Nevada acupuncture license. I practiced for four years at Renown Health’s Integrative Primary Care Center before joining The Finley Center, where I continue to practice today.

I especially enjoy using the Balance Method of acupuncture, an approach known for providing effective treatment for pain and musculoskeletal conditions.

When I’m not treating patients, you’ll usually find me spending time with my son, playing pickleball, or enjoying the outdoors.

It is an honor to practice in the community where I was born and raised. I look forward to helping you achieve your health goals through acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
